Andy bought this 1986 Ford Mustang GT with T-tops back in 1997. Since his ownership began, Andy has been modifying this vehicle to fit his needs. The previous setup was a stock block with forged internals. That motor featured AFR 165 cylinder heads, Ford Motorsport E camshaft. For a power adder, Andy went with a Vortech SC trim supercharger. With this combination, his '86 GT put down 427 rear wheel horse power on PSI Motorsport's dyno.

But modifying a Mustang does not stop there. The new motor currently being swapped in is a BOSS block with Eagle forged crank, Eagle forged rods, and Mahle pistons. Andy is now installing AFR 185 cylinder heads and a custom camshaft to replace his older components. This T-top Mustang also features a Systemmax intake manifold with a 70mm Accufab throttle body. The car now runs off of 60# fuel injectors which helps the supercharger. The exhaust on this BOSS block Mustang features BBK longtube headers and a custom Magnaflow Magnapak exhaust system. For the drivetrain, Andy is running 3.73 gears with a Cobra 31 spline differential and 3 spline axles.

Andy's goal with this new motor combination is to make about 500 rear wheel horse power on the dyno. This car is on it's way to being a real powerhouse!
